The Valley Christian Interact Club is apart of a global youth network that promotes a "service above self" mentality. This club raises up leaders to serve in their community and become involved both in their community and internationally. Each year, the VC Interact Club takes on an international and community project. This year's international project is ShelterBox, a natural disaster relief organization that helps victims restart their lives.

Area 8 Charity Dinner
When- February 12th, 6pm-9pm
Where-Evergreen High School (this is the current location, can possibly change)
Auditions for talent show- If you would like to audition for a spot to perform at the Area 8 Charity Dinner, please email a video to area8@interact5170.org
- they are in need of acts so if you would like to showcase your awesome talent, please email your audition tapes ASAP!
Valley’s Role in this event???
- We are in charge of the publicity for this event. If you have any ideas or would like to submit a poster design, contact me.
NEW COMMUNITY SERVICE EVENTS, GOING DOWNTOWN
We are teaming up with the WithLove club in going downtown to pass out care packages to the homeless. This will occur every month. More information and dates of the events to be announced. Our first trip will take place on Saturday, February 12th.
***NEW MEMBER REQUIREMENTS***
Due to the lack of attendance at the past events, we are requiring that everyone attend at least one of each of the different types of events. This includes community service, bonding, fundraiser and Area 8/District events per semester.
ICE SKATING-District Wide Event!
When-January 28th and January 29th
Where-San Jose Sharks Arena and Fremont Sharks Arena
Why you should attend- This is a fundraiser for ShelterBox and you get to meet other interactors YAY!!

Monday, 12/06 Meeting Recap
Movie/ Carroling For Cans
When- December 18th, see a movie around 2pm and go caroling around 5pm (YOU MAY COME AT ANY TIME DURING THE EVENT)
Cost- around $10 per person
Where- Oakridge Shopping Center, Silver Creek Country Club
What - A time to bond with other members and have fun caroling for cans

Kids Club
When- Every Wednesday from 2:45 - 4:00 pm
Where- an elementary school off of Senter Road and behind Valley Christian
What- Help be a mentor and leader at this wonderful after school program for public elementary students
